Vaccine for 2013-2014
Seventh Graders

Starting in August 2013, ALL seventh graders will be REQUIRED to get the Tdap vaccine to protect them against whooping cough (pertussis). Students who have not had a Tdap vaccination may NOT be allowed to attend school.

Best Middle School Singer in the District
		Congratulations to our own Korie Burton who recently won the middle school division of the Anderson School District Five “Best Singer in the District” contest at Calhoun Academy of the Arts.

Lady Hornets, Tournament Champs!

Congratulations to the girls’ basketball team for defeating Lakeside 40-39 to win the TCMSAA end-of-the-year tournament. The Lady Hornets had a great year finishing the season with record of 16-3 with victories in the Hornet Invitation Christmas Tournament and the
TCMSAA tournament.

Hornets Finish Great Season!

Congratulations to the boys’ basketball team who finished the season with a 17-2 record with victories in the Hornet Invitation Christmas Tournament and 2^nd place in the TCMSAA end-of-the-year tournament. They also won the regular season championship. Congratulations to our boys’ team on a great season!

Contest Winners

Four McCants students won awards in the 2012 NCDA Pendleton Region Poetry and Poster Contest. Congratulations to Ben Langston (3rd place - poetry), Peyton Barshaw (Honorable Mention - poster), Richelle Lauzier (3rd place - poster) and Taylor Holmes (Honorable Mention - poster).
