My name is April Hays, and I love teaching third graders.  I have taught third grade for 18 years now, most of which at Centerville.  I began teaching at Centerville in 2001.  How time flies!  I am the proud aunt of Kaden and Khloe Simmons.  Kaden and Khloe are such a special part of my life.  When their parents are on missions trips to Honduras, they live with me.  Kaden is now a seventh grader at McCants, and Khloe is a fourth grader at North Pointe Elementary.  I also have a spunky Pomeranian, Roxie, and quite a few cats that have declared residency at my house.  In my very limited free time, I love to read, write, organize, and rearrange furniture (one of my personal quirks).
