Orthopedic Surgeon Symposium Featuring Dr. Jeffrey Kirk Hensarling

On Tuesday, May 18th, AIT is hosting a symposium featuring Jeffrey Kirk Hensarling, MD from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Dr. Hensarling is an orthopedic surgeon with Blue Ridge Orthopedics in Greenville.  AIT Health Science, Biomedical and Machine Tool students will be attending. Students from Districts 3, 4, & 5 AP Biology classes have also been invited.

After Dr. Hensarling speaks, AIT’s Health Science students and Machine Tool students will be performing a mock surgery of a shoulder replacement. Our Machine tool students will be creating a replica of the shoulder "eclipse" to implant.
