• In PLTW Introduction to Engineering Design, students learn about the engineering design process and problem solving.  Students will learn how to design parts with CAD software for 3D printing.  They will complete their CAD training by designing and building a CO2 powered racecar.  Students will also learn how products are designed and assembled through reverse engineering.

Mr. Hungerford

Welcome to PLTW Engineering at AIT.  My name is Brett Hungerford and I teach Introduction to Engineering design, Principles of Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Civil Enginnering and Architecture, and Engineering Design and development.  I have been at AIT since we opened for the 2019-2020 school year.  Prior to that I taught Physics at Westside High School for 8 years.  I enjoy solving problems and working on projects.  Some of my most recent projects are rebuilding an old wakeboard boat and building a covered steel dock.  I love spending time with my son out on the lake or going offroading in the Jeep
