Hello New Prospect Elementary Family,

I am very excited serve as your principal. Moving forward in my career as a principal at such a great school is a dream come true for me. I was a student here from Kindergarten – Fifth grade and I graduated from Westside High School. I firmly believe that education is the key to success. It is the gateway for change and a tool that sets you amongst the best in the world. My favorite quote by Nelson Mandela is, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

I am a native of Anderson, South Carolina where I currently reside with my wife and our dog, Ivy. I graduated from South Carolina State University and Anderson University. I most recently graduated from Furman University in May with an Educational Specialist Degree. I have worked as a Principal at Monaview Elementary in Greenville County for the last year. Before that, I was a teacher, coach, and assistant principal in Anderson School District Five for seven years.

I am an avid basketball fan. My favorite college team is the Duke University Blue Devils and my favorite NBA team is the Oklahoma City Thunder. I also enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and of course, my students.

I am passionate, eager, and committed to doing my best to ensure that all of my students at New Prospect Elementary School will continue to receive a quality education. I will work closely with you, our faculty, and staff to ensure that we reach our goals. I hope you all are just as excited as I am! Thank you for allowing me to serve as your principal. I look forward to building great relationships with the students, parents, teacher, faculty, staff, and the whole New Prospect Elementary School family. Always remember, “Today is a great day to have a great day.”
