Pictello is an application for the iPad that allows one to create social stories using real video and voice recording. Text is entered along with pictures so the story may also be saved into a PDF file and/or printed out. This app is only available through iTunes.
This app was designed to assist those with apraxia and other speech sound delays. It demonstrates a close up of mouth movements as words, phrases, and sentences are being said. Being able to hear the speech sounds while seeing the movement of the articulators helps in improving speech. This is not a free app.
