The 7^thGrade Technology course requires students to learn to identify, access, process, and communicate information to solve problems. The students will learn to recognize the parts of a system, input, processing, control, and output. With different application software and system software, the students will use the design cycle to develop their problem-solving, critical and creative thinking skills to create products/solutions with respect for others. Course topics include web design, digital photography, graphic design, and game design. Course application software includes Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Power Point, Excel, Publisher, School Fusion web page, email, discussions, Wiki blog, Wiki web page, Gimp. Course systems software includes operating systems, networking systems, online collaborative systems. Course materials include computer hardware and software digital camera, scanner, printer.
