One of the most significant and distinctive features of the IB Primary Years Programme is the six Transdisciplinary Themes. These themes are about issues that have meaning for and are important to all of us. The programme offers a balance between learning about or through the subject areas and learning beyond them.
Who We Are: Diverse cultures contribute to our heritage.
Where We Are in Time and Place: An understanding of structure and function encourages participation within systems.
How We Express Ourselves: People use different forms of expression to convey their uniqueness.
How the World Works: Changes occur and influence decisions.
How We Organize Ourselves: Humans are dependent upon one another.
Sharing the Planet: Animals' basic needs are met in specific environments.
