    Information concerning specific careers, clusters, majors, or colleges can be found on SCOIS. SCOIS serves as a valuable college and career resource. Westside students can obtain Other resources available to students that promote career development are job shadowing and service learning. Information about these resources can be obtained in guidance as well.


     SC Vocational Rehabilitation



    SC Vocational Rehabilitation offers career guidance experiences including counseling, corporate site visits, job shadowing, guest speakers, paid internships, campus tours, possible college tuition assistance (for those that meet financial need guidelines), and assistance with job placement.  These services are for diploma and non-diploma track students 16 years of age and older with a qualifying disability which may include a learning disability, ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, sickle cell, hearing loss, arthritis, or other disabilities.
