Dr. Sandy Addis
Dr. Sandy Addis was officially sworn in to the Anderson Five Board of Trustees on March 18th, 2014 after being appointed by the Anderson County Board of Education to fill a vacant at-large seat.
Dr. Addis has lived in the Anderson Five school zone for 32 years, and has worked as a teacher, counselor, coach, principal, central office administrator and state education agency director for 42 years in both South Carolina and Georgia. He is currently the Director of the National Dropout Prevention Center at Clemson University.
Dr. Addis is a graduate of Furman University and holds graduate degrees from Clemson University and South Carolina State University. He is married to Martha Addis, a retired educator, and has one daughter, Kate who is an attorney. His hobbies include boating and yard work.
