    Education: BA of Special Education from Clemson University/ License: Special Education: Multi-Categorical How long have you been teaching?: 3 yrs. Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and watching movies. What do you enjoy about teaching?:  I enjoy teaching because of the relationships I get to make with the students. I enjoy being a part of their big and small growths and triumphs. Teachers have the most important job and being a part of shaping minds, inspiring them, and loving them is the thing that I enjoy most about teaching.

    Jennifer Brown  McLees Elementary 

     

    Education: Applied Science Degree in Recreational Therapy, Bachelors of Science in Special Education from Appalachian State University. How long have you been teaching?:  I've been in education for 15 years. I've served as an assistant, Behavior Specialist, and Special Ed teacher! Publications/Grants: Autism Grant in 2019, Recreational Therapist of the year for NC, Assistant teacher of the year, Rookie Teacher of the year  Hobbies:  I love body building and working out. I plan to do a bodybuilding show in 2021. What do you enjoy about teaching?: I do it all for my kids. Our growth may be small, but its extraordinary when it happens! I want my students to gain as much independence as possible! My goal as as special educator is to work my way out of a job! .
