Background

Mrs. Grant has twenty-two years of experience in developing business and community partnerships and experience in on-the-job training, work-based learning, internships, and apprenticeship development.

Responsibilities:

As Assistant Executive Director for Business and Community Partnerships, Mrs. Grant develops additional resources, partners and employers to aid students in their career pathways.  She is responsible for the engagement of local industries, and community organizations at the Anderson Institute of Technology (AIT). Mrs. Grant works with employers to connect students to real work experiences and opportunities for students to engage in the local workforce. She also assists to coordinate AIT advisory committees with over one hundred and forty members of experts from business and industry. Mrs. Grant is responsible for the coordination of community, non-profit events, and tours at AIT. She provides leadership and public relations necessary to communicate the mission of AIT with community partners and provides guidance for the marketing and branding of AIT materials and publications.
