    2021-2022 School Bus Registration

    **** We are experiencing high volumes of bus requests at this time that has created a back log.  Please fill out one bus request and contact Transportation or your child's school within 5 days of your submittal for their bus assignment.

    Due to COVID-19 regulations, we must run all buses at 67% or lower capacity to maintain social distancing on the school bus.  We are encouraging parents that have a mode of transportation and time to transport their child(ren) to and from school to please consider doing so during the pandemic.   Students and staff who ride the bus to and from school are required to wear face coverings while boarding, riding, and exiting ALL school buses.  
     
    However, if you are unable to provide transportation for your child to and/or from school Anderson School District Five Transportation Services is requiring that ALL (new & returning)  bus riders complete a Student Transportation Request Form to ensure that your child is routed and assigned to the closest bus stop available.  If you have filled this form out on Registration Gateway, please do not fill out this form again unless you have changes to your previous request.  Failure to complete this form for any student may result in delayed transportation eligibility and ridership. Please allow up to 5 work days for the registration form to be processed.  During the 5 day waiting period of your first request, please do not send in multiple requests.  
     
    Transportation forms will be processed in the order in which they were received by the Transportation Office. Please take in mind that after the school year has started, it may take up to 5 school days to establish transportation for your child.  
     
     
    Virtual Students do not need to fill out this form until they have been notified that they have been approved to return to face to face instruction.   
     
    Special Needs Transportation services will be coordinated through the Special Education Department only.  PLEASE CONTACT SPECIAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT.

    Magnet school students who are out-of-school zone and do not qualify for bus transportation, DO NOT need to fill out this form. 

    Please do not fill out this form if your student will not ride the school bus on a consistent basis. Once bus routes have been stabilized, the practice is to remove students from bus rosters if they do not ride the bus for 5 consecutive days. 
     
    If you move or need to change pick up and/or drop off address after completing this request, please visit the Transportation website to fill out another bus request.
