I am entering my 9th year of teaching, and have been a Respiratory Therapist for over 30 years.  I am married with two grown children, a grandson, and my two pups Axle and Chloe.  I enjoy traveling, kayaking, woodworking, and quilting. 

  • Health Science 1 is an introduction to career exploration in over 200 careers in the medical field.  In the first quarter, we  will learn aspects of safety, Personal Characteristics, Communication, Teamwork, and Infection Control, as well as medical terminology, and  basic pharmacology.  The second quarter will be dedicated to human body systems and diseases.  This is a VERY hands-on and project-based class and prepares students to successfully prepare for the next two levels of Health Science.
