Welcome to Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten and Centerville Elementary School! This is a new and exciting time for you and your child.  By working together, we can make it a happy and wonderful learning experience for your child.

• Keep the school informed of a current address, working telephone number, and email.

• Attendance: It is imperative that all WELL children are here. If your child must be absent, please send a written excuse when your child returns.  

• Arrival:  Students will enter the building and will go to their hallway. Students will enter classrooms at 7:45 a.m. Breakfast is in the classroom.  The car rider gate will be closed at 7:57 a.m.  Students are marked tardy if they arrive after 8:00 a.m.

• Dismissal:  If your child needs to leave early, you must go by the office to sign him/her out.  The office will notify us to send the child up to the office. No child is allowed to leave without the school-issued car rider tag. If you do not have a car rider tag you will be asked to drive to the front office, and show your ID. Your child will then be called to the office for dismissal.

• Recess: ∙ Our classroom has a set time of 9:30 TOYS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT SCHOOL!

• Lunch: ∙ 12:18- 12:43 You are allowed to come and eat with your student this year. Lunch is $2.15. Please complete the Free & Reduced Forms online. 
• Class Celebrations: Messages will be sent out about class parties. For birthdays, if you would like to send in a treat of some kind that is allowed, just let me know. 
• Water Bottles: Students can bring a non-glass water bottle that does not leak. Please fill with water only.
