Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism.

English I CP, English I Honors,
    English II Honors
    are challenging courses.
Together we will read great works
    of literature which will open
    our eyes to the universality
    of the human experience.
    We will acquire many reading
    analysis skills and stretch
our writing voices.  You will be active
    participants in your learning
My hopes are that students will develop a
    deep appreciation for literature
and a life-long love of reading.
    Addtionally, students will enrich
    creativity and analytical skills
    through writing and discussions.
