    Jennifer Bufford, Principal
     Mrs. Bufford

I could not be more excited to be joining the Whitehall Elementary School.  From the hard-working, innovative, and involved staff to the committed community involvement, Whitehall is a unique and wonderful place to positively impact the lives of children. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve students, staff members, parents and other community members at Whitehall.

As an educator, I wish to be partners with our students’ parents.  I believe that parental involvement greatly contributes to improved student achievement, attendance, motivation, self-concept and behavior.  I appreciate our parent and community support and rely on their continued dedication to our school. Working with teachers, students, families, and the community to ensure all students reach their potential and are ready to be successful and life-long learners is my primary focus.

I have served in school administration for 11 years. I have been blessed to serve at Whitehall 3 years  Prior to accepting the principalship at Whitehall, I served as an Administrative Assistant/Assistant Principal at Woodland Elementary, Instructional Assistant Principal at Palmetto Elementary, and as a Principal at Varennes Elementary School.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from University of South Carolina Upstate. After being in the classroom for several years, I decided to go back to school to pursue a degree in school leadership. I earned a Master’s in Education of School Administration from Grand Canyon University.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Brian Bufford. We have four amazing children and one precious grandchild. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy watching movies, skating, shopping, swimming, and vacationing together.

I am passionate about my commitment to education and the well-being of every student at Whitehall. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to continue the successes of Whitehall.

    Thank you,

    Jennifer Bufford
