Welcome to Concord Elementary School where students and staff are on a continuous learning journey as an International Baccalaureate World School. Concord is an award winning 4K through Grade 5 elementary school with high academic standards. Concord serves over 580 students who score well on state tests and work hard toward these accomplishments.

Concord provides a variety of ongoing clubs that support the curriculum. These include Harry Potter Club, Origami Club, Science Club, Gardening Club, and Difference Makers' Club.  Concord also recongnizes and supports the development of students' communication skills.  The Writers' Guild Program recognizes students for their exemplary writing each nine-weeks.  Students in Grades 4 and 5 audition , produce, and deliver the Wake Up Concord news show each morning.  In addition, students in Grades 4 and 5 participate in Battle of the Books, a voluntary reading program that encourages students to read good books while having fun competing with peers.

Concord's art, music, and physical education programs enhance the academic program through innovative offerings such as Running Club, Volleyball Club, Archery Team, Kids on Key, and Happy Hive Singers.  Concord's guidance program offers classroom guidance, sponsors the IB Ambassadors program, and supports other service learning opportunities for students.
Concord is located in the city of Anderson in a residential community that's supportive of education. The PTA is an intregal part of Concord.  The PTA has a strong partnership with teachers and a tradition of service to our students. Concord and the community work diligently together to support the community and organizations such as Anderson Interfaith Ministries, the YMCA, the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, and the local United Way Campaign.  As business partners, Guys's Pizza, Zaxby's, and Mission Grill all support the school through Concord Spirit Nights each month throughout the school year.  In conjunction with the Kiwanis Club, Concord recognizes "Terrific Kids" monthly.

Concord has a long tradition of excellence. This is largely due to dedicated staff, teachers, parents, and a community committed to providing the best for our students.
