    Welcome to 6th grade Social Studies! 
     
    This year we will be exploring ancient cultures through the 1600s. Students will be participating in a variety of activities to study ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China, Greece, and Rome. We will also be exploring the Middle Ages and the Age of Exploration.
     
    Welcome to 7th grade Social Studies!
     
    This year we will be exploring contemporary cultures beginning with the 1600s all the way through to the present day! Students will learn about the growing interaction among these societies as well as the exchange of ideas, beliefs, technologies, and commodities among them. Students will understand how the changing political and economic ideas shaped the modern world as well as the roots of modern-day tensions and issues.
