Hi there and thank you for taking the time to visit my webpage! My name is Cara Lott  and I teach Music Appreciation here at WHS. I am in my 25th year of teaching music in public schools. My experience is varied --I have taught K-12th grade throughout the Southeast. In addition, my classroom experience spans a variety of subjects: Chorus, General Music, Music Appreciation, Drama, Piano Lab. I am a native of Troy, Alabama and graduated from Samford University in Birmingham AL with a degree in Voice and Music Education. I am an active soloist and actress in community churches, music organizations and community theatres. It is my joy to teach students about music. I hope that my time with them will broaden their musical tastes and lead to a greater appreciation for all types of music.
