grade art Do you want to see your child's grades in all their classes???  Do you have parent portal?  If not, please stop by guidance and they will give you a username and password so you can see all of your child's grades.
Your child also has access to student portal where they can see all of their grades.  They use this all the time!!! Please ask them to show you their student portal.  Once you are in student portal, click on grade for that quarter and it will show you all assignments in that class.

To access your child's textbook, your child needs to log into their student portal. (Go to Robert Anderson webpage, click on ClassLink (unless it automatically came up), then find app called "PowerSchool (student) and click on it.  Your child knows their username and password.)  Once they log into student portal, they go down until they see "Pearson Courses" on left side and click on it.
Your child can access the lessons we do in class (along with other examples).  To do this follow the steps below.
1.) Have students log in to digits (see steps above)
2.) On the blue tool bar, click on Practice.
3.) Look at my lesson plans and see what lesson(s) we are on.
4.) Click on the Unit, then the Topic, then the lesson.  (You will see a launch, examples, and close & check section. Click on each to view lesson.
You child can also access some intervention lessons.  Do steps 1 and 2 above then click where it says intervention and find lessons they need help on.  For instance, if they are struggling with adding and subtracting fractions, click on the intervention lesson for that.
1st and 2nd Blocks:  Getting to 7th Grade Material
    1.) Log into Digits
2.) In upper left hand corner you will see 6th Grade Digits with an arrow.  Click on that arrow and then select 7th grade Digits.
3.) You can go to Practice and see lessons that we are doing and you can go to "To Do" to do your lessons.
**Your child must make a 90 or above on their Digit lessons. These lessons are practice problems to enforce your child's understanding of concepts taught in class!

IXL is a comprehensive math program.  I assign your child lessons for math practice.  Your child has a certain time to have them completed.  IXL is designed for practice and retention so if your child missing a question, it will show them how to work the problem and their score will go down.  Your child has to get the problems correct for their score to go up.  Remember this is practice and it will help them with mastery of the skill!   When IXL lessons are due, I put the grade that they have in my gradebook.  Students are encouraged to continue to work on them for a better grade before the end of each nine week period.
