Hi, my name is Jason Hallman.  I am starting my 26th year of teaching Physical Education.  I taught for 7 years at Vareness Elementary also in Anderson School District 5 and I have been at Midway since it opened in 2003.  I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1994 with a BS in Physical Education and from Furman University  in 2005 with a Masters of Arts in Administration. 

     I am married to Jenna (she's a yankee) and we have 2 boys (Jordan and Brooks).  Jenna is also in education and works for Winthrop University.  My oldest son Jordan is in the United States Marine Corps and stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC with his wife and 2 kids Olivia and Maddox.  My youngest son Brooks is starting his sophmore year at the University of South Carolina where he is majoring in Physical Therapy.
