Name: Marci Mims
This is my 22nd year as an early childhood teacher. Born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina makes me a native to the area. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!
In 1996, I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in early childhood education and elementary education. After teaching seven years, I attended Southern Wesleyan University earning a master’s degree in education. In 2008 I received my National Board Certification. The past twenty-one years of working with children and caring colleagues have been some of the most precious years of my life.
My parents were blessed with three girls. I’m number three. My husband Keith and our son Drayton are the pride of my life! Drayton is a sophomore at Clemson University. Go TIGERS!
I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach at Midway this year! I know this is going to be the best year yet!
