Name: Marci Mims
This is my 23rd year as an early childhood teacher. Born and raised in Anderson, South Carolina makes me a native to the area. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!
I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in early childhood education and elementary education. After teaching seven years, I attended Southern Wesleyan University earning a master’s degree in education. In 2008, I received my National Board Certification. The past twenty-two years of working with children and caring colleagues have been some of the most precious years of my life.
My parents were blessed with three girls. I’m the baby of the family. My husband Keith and our son Drayton are the pride of my life! Drayton is a junior at Clemson University. Go TIGERS!
I love teaching at Midway! I know this is going to be the best year yet!
