Welcome to Physical Education! My name is Lance Abernathy and I will be teaching your son  this year. I am very excited for the upcoming school year! This is my first year teaching at Glenview Middle School but will be my 26h year teaching overall.

My goal is to provide a safe and valuable learning experience for each and every student. In order for this to happen, students need to dress out every class period. This year we have a new policy for dressing out; students must wear their PE clothes and tennis shoes.  T.  Students also need to be willing to try new sports and activities while putting forth their best effort. We have a lot of fun and exciting activities planned for this year. Some of those activities include: Wiffle Ball, Ultimate Hand Ball, Volleyball, Flag Football, Basketball, Pickleball, FitnessGram Testing, Floor Hockey, and Health/Sex Ed.
