Ms. Stanifer graduated from Clemson University in 1986 and taught for 30+ years in Pickens County. While there, she taught first, third, and fourth grades at East End Elementary. She also served as the school's Instructional Coach for five years. Ms. Stanifer has been named Teacher of the Year three times(in 1991, in 2002, and 2022). She has also been prestigiously called one of the "Who's Who Among America's Teachers.” She is now in her third year at Varennes Elementary. While teaching is certainly her passion, she also enjoys traveling, sports, walking, shopping, going to church, and spending time with her family. She has two sons (Will and Andrew) and a daughter-in-law (Megan).
