I anticipate a fabulous year at McCants Middle School as your child's math teacher.  I truly love teaching and make it a professional goal to ensure students look forward to coming to math class each day. 

My two most favorite teaching phrases are: "Failing Forward" and "The Struggle is Real...Real good because when we are struggling; we are learning."  To me, these phrases exemplify that making mistakes and correcting them helps us grow as mathematicians and people.  Both phrases provide an opportunity to persevere.  

I look forward to facilitating our Anderson Five's Commitment to Excellence as we remain focused on our mission and vision for our students throughout the school year no matter the challenges we face together.  Reaching out to me via email with any questions, concerns, or motivation to keep doing something that is working well for your child is welcomed, and I will respond within 24 hours.
