Ms. Brittany Williamson

My name is Brittany Williamson.I'm truly passionate about the Cosmetology industry and I'm so thrilled to introduce this industry to young professionals like yourself! I've been a licensed cosmetologist for 14 years, and a licensed instructor for 9 years. I was born and raised in Anderson. I attended High School at Palmetto High School.I received my Cosmetology  License from Anderson I & II Career and Technology Center in 2007 and received my Cosmetology Instructor's License in 2009.Since day one of my junior year in cosmetology I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I made it my mission ever since to learn every aspect of the business so that I could bring that knowledge back to the classroom. 

When I'm not in the classroom or the salon,I enjoy watching football in the fall, cooking, working out, and spending time with my family. I look forward to an exciting and successful school year.

  • The Cosmetology Program is designed to prepare students to qualify and successfully complete all requirements for a South Carolina Cosmetology license. Students receive training that follows the guidelines and regulations established by the South Carolina Labor, Licensing, and Regulation Cosmetology Board. The course of study includes Sanitation and Safety, Professionalism and Salon Management, Sciences of Cosmetology, Professional Hair Care Skills, Professional Nail Care Skills, Professional Skin Care Skills, and Unassigned Specific Needs. Instruction in chemistry, bacteriology, anatomy, and physiology of the face, head, arms, and hands is incorporated by means of theory and practical application on both mannequins and live models.
