Kerry Hatcher

My name is Kerry Hatcher.  I have 2 sons, Logan and Carson.  Logan is a senior at Anderson University and Carson attends Tric County Tech.  I was born and raised in Anderson.  I attended High School at Crescent High School.  I received my Associate Degree in Nursing from Greenville Technical College in 1996 and recently received my BSN from Western Governors University. 

I worked as a cardiology nurse before making the move to education.  This will be my 13th year teaching Health Science!

I enjoy spending time with my family, watching college football in the fall, working in my yard, and participating in activities with my church.  

  • HEALTH SCIENCE

    In Health Science 2, students will become BLS certified and learn about legal and ethical issues related to health care. Many other topics in health care are discussed as well as students learning medical abbreviations. Students will start learning hands-on skills that will be needed to care for patients in future real-world settings. 

    Health Science 1 students will learn about careers in health care, safety, and infection control.  While learning body systems, they will look at medical word parts that relate to each system.

    These courses give you insight into what pursuing an education or career in health care is about!

    If you have an interest and compassion for working in a patient-centered health career in the future, then Health Science is just the place for you!
