Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Brent Meyers, and I am super excited to be teaching Social Studies and the brand new College and Career Readiness Class, here at McCants this year. 

Some fun facts about me...I was born here in the upstate of South Carolina, but I grew up in Johannesberg, South Africa. Spending my formative years in a different country has provided me with a unique perspective, which I cannot wait to share with my students this year. I am an avid fan of soccer, with my favorite team being FC Barcelona. I also really enjoy reading, hiking, watching movies/tv series, playing video games, and of course playing soccer. I love to travel and have been all the way around the world and have visited fifteen different countries.

Lesson Plans

Our class uses Google Classroom for all major class announcements and information. Your child has been assigned his/her personal login information by the district. Google Classroom can be accessed through any device with internet capability, not just the student's Chromebook. They will need to input their A5 login information in order for them to log into devices that are not their A5 Chromebooks.
