Mrs. Sharp is a third-grade teacher at Varennes Elementary. She graduated from Western Governors University in March 2021 with a Masters of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education. Previously, she received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Catawba College in 1991. Mrs. Sharp was named Varennes' Rookie of the Year for the 2021-2022 school year. Prior to coming to Varennes, she was a Leveled Literacy Intervention Assistant working with first and second graders at Homeland Park Primary and served with Americorps at Mt. Lebanon Elementary.

Mrs. Sharp is married to her husband, Dan, and they have two children and one dog. Their son is a senior at T.L. Hanna and their daughter is a sophomore there. When she is not at school, Mrs. Sharp loves to read, knit, play board games with her family, travel, take nature photos, and go on walks with her dog and kids.
