Mrs. Echols

Mrs. Echols teaches ESOL at Varennes Elementary. She is a graduate of Clemson University and went to Anderson University to earn her Master's Degree. She has previously taught at La France Elementary (5K) in Anderson Four, Midway Elementary (2nd and 5th), and Whitehall Elementary/Virtual Academy (ESOL). Mrs. Echols has is highly regarded as an educator and has earned many distinctions including: Teacher of the Year for her time with both La France and Midway Elementary, the WYFF Golden Apple Award and the State of South Carolina 4-H Service Award.

She is married to her husband Mike. They have a son named Hayden, a daughter-in-law named Meghan, a granddaughter named Emery Jeanne, a daughter named Logan, a son-in-law named William, and two more grandchildren, Gray Elizabeth and Wills. In her spare time she enjoys Clemson revelry, hiking, the beach, and horseback riding.
