Mr. Anderson is a native of Anderson, SC, and beginning his first year at Varennes Elementary as a Resource teacher. Mr. Anderson earned his bachelor's degree from Southern Wesleyan University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Special Education from Francis Marion University. He is recognized as a member of the National Honor Society in Education Kappa Delta Pi. He has worked for Anderson School District Five as a Registered Behavior Technician and a Special Education Teaching Assistant. Mr. Anderson has had the honor of being named Instructional Support Staff of the year at each school where he has worked. He was nominated as district employee of the year for 2022. Mr. Anderson’s number one role in being an educator is to help develop a knowledgeable and productive student that will function in society. He will continue to make himself available to build positive and meaningful relationships while helping each and every student succeed. Mr. Anderson and his wife of 20 years have a son named Grant, who is 18, and a daughter named Kristine, who is 8. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking for his family and friends. He really loves going to music concerts!
