    *** Course Request Verification Letters ***
    Letters were distributed on Wednesday, May 23rd.  These letters contain a printoff of the classes listed in our scheduling system for each specific student.  It is essential that you review this letter to verify that our system reflects the correct course requests.  We will create schedules over the summer and do our best to schedule the requested courses.
    If you need to make a change, do so now.  Write your requested change on your letter ("blue sheet") and return it to your homeroom teacher by Thursday, May 31st. AFTER your letter is returned, your counselor will review your notes and contact you via your school email if necessary.  Additional meetings are not required. You must use the letter to express your requests.

    Summer Assignments

    2017-2018 IGP Videos:
    Students will watch the videos during Advisory the week of February 5th. 
    The counselors at TL Hanna conduct Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) conferences with students and parents to discuss future classes, career goals, and post-secondary plans.

    It is important that you review this information and watch the video in advance as it will help facilitate our discussion.  We will still discuss your student’s individual plan for high school graduation and plans for after high school.  However, providing the rest of the information to students and parents in advance will reduce the amount of time missed from the student’s class and the parent’s personal and work schedule.

    The Volunteer Services Department of AnMed Health is currently accepting applications for the 2018 Summer Youth Volunteer Program.

    • The program will consist of 3 separate two-week sessions: June 11-22; July 2-13; and July 23-August 3
    • Volunteers will participate in one session and must be willing to volunteer Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm for the entire two week period
    • Applications must be received by April 6, 2018
    • Applicants must be at least 15 years old by June 1st in order to participate

    We’re very excited to announce an upcoming Perry Outreach Program on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Clemson University in Clemson, SC. The Perry Outreach Program is a free, one-day, hands-on experience for high school women who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine and engineering. Students will hear from women leaders in these fields and try it for themselves by performing mock orthopaedic surgeries and biomechanics experiments.
    We are now seeking applicants for our Clemson, SC program. Participants should be women in grades 10 and up with an expressed interest in science, medicine and/or engineering.  We would very much appreciate if you could pass this information along to any high school principals, high school science teachers or high school students you may know.  Applicants should be directed to fill out our online application in advance of theApril 19, 2018 application deadline.




    When completing a college application through the Common App, you must link your Common App account to your Naviance account in order for teachers and counselors to upload the additional documents that are required.
