    Mental Health Counselor II - posted 12/5/19

    This position is with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center, 200 McGee Road, Anderson, SC 29625 and will be located in an office at an Anderson School District 5 School.

    The Department of Mental Health is a drug-free workplace. All candidates will be required to pass a mandatory Pre-employment drug test.

    The selected candidate provides counseling services to children, adolescents and their families (CAF) at a designated Anderson School District 5 school for Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center.  Must possess valid driver's license.

    Minimum and Additional Requirements

    State Requirement:  A bachelor's degree and professional experience in human services or social services programs.

    Agency Requirement:  A master's degree in guidance, counseling or the social sciences and one year's experience (excluding internships) is required to be considered for the position. Less than one year’s experience post-masters may be considered for certain positions.
