Welcome to a new school year! My name is Erin Best and I am an early childhood graduate from Southern Wesleyan University. I have also graduated with my master's of education from Anderson University. This will be my 11th year teaching 2nd grade at Midway. Second grade is such a wonderful grade to teach! We will be learning about animals, severe weather, regrouping subtraction and addition problems, reading all types of genres, economics, regions, and much more!

My husband Danny and I live in Anderson. We have three children that keep us very busy! Finley is 8 years old, Sullivan is 5 years old, and our newest edition, Sloane, is 6 months old. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family, singing at church, being outdoors, and traveling. 

I hope you all had a wonderful summer and I look forward to meeting all my students for a great year of learning and fun!
