Kindergarten and First Grade Registration

Anderson School District Five will begin Kindergarten registration on March 9^th, 2023, and First Grade registration on March 16^th, 2023. Registrations will be held at the elementary schools. All pupils are to register in the attendance area where they legally reside.

 

It is important to note that Anderson Five is implementing a new, online registration platform for both Kindergarten and First Grade registrants.

Kindergarten Registration

South Carolina Law requires that children entering Kindergarten in the 2023-2024 school year must be five-years-old on or before September 1, 2023.

 

For students who ARE currently enrolled in an Anderson Five Preschool Program (4K), on-site registration will begin on March 9^th, 2023. Registration will be held at the elementary schools by APPOINTMENT ONLY. You must call the elementary school in the attendance area where the child legally resides to schedule a registration appointment.

 

For students who ARE NOT currently enrolled in Anderson Five Preschool Program (4K), on-site registration will begin on March 9^th, 2023 by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Several other steps must be completed prior to scheduling an appointment for students who ARE NOT currently enrolled in an Anderson Five Preschool Program (4K), including completion of the PowerSchool Enrollment Online Registration System.

First Grade Registration

 

South Carolina Law requires that children entering First Grade in the 2023-2024 school year must be six-years-old on or before September 1, 2023.

 

For students who ARE currently enrolled in an Anderson Five Kindergarten (5K), the registration process for First Grade will begin in June 2023.

 

For  students who ARE NOT currently enrolled in an Anderson Five Kindergarten (5K), on-site registration will begin March 16^th, 2023 by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Several other steps must be completed prior to scheduling an appointment for students who ARE NOT currently enrolled in an Anderson Five Kindergarten (5K), including completion of the PowerSchool Enrollment Online Registration System.
