T.L. Hanna High School student-run business, The Fizzer Factory, has been recognized at the state-level! On November 20, students participated in a demonstration showcase of their business and products at the statewide Transition Alliance of SC, where they were named Employer of the Year.

The Fizzer Factory is a bath ball/aromatherapy business and was created by an Education Employability class at T.L. Hanna High School. The class teaches employment skills including resume writing, mock interviewing, as well as fills a variety of roles such as production, packaging, distribution, etc. in The Fizzer Factory business. The business has grown tremendously and evolved in its operations from once hand forming the business products, to now using specialized molding equipment and beautiful packaging. Several clients have even requested custom orders for party favors and other events!

It has been so neat to see this school-based enterprise grow and suceed under the guidance and supervision of Lead Teacher, Beth Hollingsworth. The Fizzer Factory continues to build confidence and pride for all involved, especially the students. Anderson Five is beyond proud and overjoyed to see our mission - "To educate students who are college and career-ready and will positively contribute to an ever-changing world" - live out through this outstanding achievement. Congratulations and job well done!

The Fizzer Factory is currently taking orders! You can place an order HERE!
