Google Alerts

Interested in tracking a topic on the web?  Use Google Alerts to get email notifications on a topic you are following.  See the steps below to create a Google Alert.


Search Terms



  • Click in the Search box to type in your criteria (Be specific, use quotes around your term(s), use (-) to exclude words, use site: to limit your search to a specific site)
  • Click How often to set the criteria for notifications


How Often



  • Click Sources to select as many Sources as you like





  • Click Create Alert





  • After creating the alert, you can click the Edit button to make changes or the Delete button to remove the alert.


Edit and Delete



  • Click the Gear to change the Delivery time and to receive a single email with all alerts.
