Meet Mrs. Smith
Teaching at Calhoun has been an amazing experience. I love teaching through the arts and making learning hands on.
I graduated high school in 2004 from Palmetto High School in Williamston, SC. There I was in honor classes and cheered on the football/competitive cheerleading squad. I graduated with honors. Upon graduation I went to Anderson University where I graduated with honors with a B.S. in Early Childhood/Elementary Education in 2008. I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, 5th grade, was the Math Interventionist, and 4th grade.
I live in Williamston, SC with my husband Brian. We got married in June 2011. Brian is a full-time firefighter in Simpsonville. Brian and I were blessed with twins in January 2014. We have both a boy, Sawyer, and girl, Callie Blair. In December of 2016 we were blessed with our third child, a little boy named Drake. We also have one dog, Avery. I spend much of my free time doing things with my church. I am apart of the Children's Ministry Team. I love taking my children on adventures like hiking to find waterfalls!
