    golf Girls Varsity Golf is State Bound! 

    GIRLS VARSITY GOLF IS STATE BOUND 

    It was a huge day for the Lady Jackets as they finished 6th at the Upper State Championship! The teams final score was a 357, the lowest of the season in tournament play. Sophomore, Ivy Schulze, had a amazing match, finishing with a 76. Our Senior & captain, Brooke Smith, played one of her personal best rounds & shot a 93. Lilian Glenn & Marissa Scaletta both shot a 96, giving the team the third and fourth scores of the day. It was a beautiful day for golf & the Lady Jackets showed up to play. The girls will be headed to the Country Club of Lexington this coming Monday & Tuesday to compete at the State Finals

    *Parking Passes – If your student needs to purchase a parking pass for the 20 -21 school year please fill out the attached form and email it to bethhughes@anderson5.net. Due to COVID-19 and our desire to have more students drive themselves to school we will be waiving our normal policy and allow students who have past due fees to purchase a parking pass. Students do not have to complete the Alive at 25 course to purchase a parking pass. You may purchase a parking pass for $20.00 as long as you technology fee for the 20 – 21 school year is paid.

    It is our intention to honor the memory and legacy of Chadwick Boseman, T. L. Hanna Class of ’95, with a memorial scholarship. We would like to work with Chadwick’s family to establish a scholarship fund for graduating seniors at T. L. Hanna.     Congratulations to Jeremy Powell, our TLH Teacher of the Year!

     Congratulations to Jeremy Powell on being named a state finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Teaching.  Mr. Powell is one of three finalists from South Carolina. The winner will be named in the fall.
