     Family Literacy Night
Families enjoyed listening to favorite stories read by their teachers and reading together as a family. Students then created digital book snaps, flip grids, dot pictures, pirate writings, and other literacy crafts. Students were also able to purchase their own books at the Scholastic Book Fair, and everyone enjoyed a pizza supper.

    BreakOut at Whitehall!

5th grade students at Whitehall completed a "Breakout" during Math. Students had to solve expressions using the order of operations. Students used the answers from the expressions to find the code to different locks and break out! This was a great way to review for our order of operations test.

    Science & Math Club
In Science Club, students are going to practice coding and working with robots. We wanted students to understand the purpose  of robots and why we need to code. Therefore, students participated in a Google Expedition exploring Mars. Students were able to see what the rovers were able to do and how they work!
