Office 365 Email Setup on an Apple iPhone or iPad

 

Option 1: Using the Outlook App (Recommended)

  • Download Microsoft Outlook from the App Store.
  • Open the app and tap Add Account.
  • Enter your @anderson5.net email address and tap Continue.
  • Enter your password and sign in.
  • If prompted, approve sign-in via Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Choose Yes to allow Outlook to access your calendar and contacts.

 

Option 2: Using the Apple Mail App

  • Go to Settings ® Mail ® Accounts ® Add Account.
  • Select Microsoft Exchange.
  • Enter your @anderson5.net email address and a description (e.g., Work Email).
  • Tap Next and sign in using your Office 365 credentials.
  • If asked, enter the server as outlook.office365.com.
  • Choose what to sync (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders).
  • Tap Save.

 

Tips

  • Ensure your device has the latest iOS update.
  • If your organization uses MFA (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -  Need to know more?  Click HERE), keep your authenticator app handy.
  • For best experience, the Outlook app is recommended as it supports all Office 365 features.

 

 

Office 365 Email Setup on Android

 

Option 1: Using the Outlook App (Recommended)

  • Download Microsoft Outlook from Google Play Store.
  • Open the app and tap Add Account.
  • Enter your @anderson5.net email address and tap Continue.
  • Enter your password and sign in.
  • Approve Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) if prompted.
  • Grant permissions for contacts and calendar sync.

Option 2: Using Gmail or Native Email App

  • Open Settings ® Accounts ® Add Account ® Exchange or Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
  • Enter your @anderson5.net email and password.
  • If prompted, enter the server as outlook.office365.com.
  • Accept security policies (device admin permissions may be required).
  • Choose what to sync (Mail, Contacts, Calendar).
  • Tap Save to complete setup.

 

Tips

  • Ensure your device has the latest Android update.
